OCC Watercolour Homework

Found some homework from the recent Online Watercolour Card Classes that I hadn't shown.

The lesson was showing how a simple brushstroke can be used to create leaves and flowers.  Very enjoyable class.  I added some splatters and some green Adorable Scorable card.

See you tomorrow with another card.

Food and Drink at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge

These two cards were so fast and easy! I wanted to do something for Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Food and Drink, and I wanted to use the Freshly Brewed stamp set and my new Distress Crayons.

Using the Distress Crayons, I scribbled blocks of colour onto Ranger Speciality Stamping Paper because the surface is slightly slick and the crayons went on beautifully.  I smudged with my finger here and there and then stamped.  So easy!

The 'New Job' sentiment was computer generated, cut up and scribbled with more distress crayon colour before popping up on foam.  The Happy Birthday is from Simon Says Clear Stamps Birthday Messages.

Mid-month inspiration at Craft for the Craic

This month at Craft for the Craic the theme is 'Luck of the Irish' and I've made a card with the colours of the Irish flag.

The green splatters were made with Brusho watercolour called, aptly enough, Emerald Green.  The stitched dies and the balloon dies are from Simon Says Stamp, as are the stars and sentiment.

There's still plenty of time to play along at Craft for the Craic.  Looking forward to seeing how you interpret 'Luck of the Irish'!
