Die-ing for Spring at Craft for the Craic

It's been a busy month with little time for crafting but now it's time for another challenge at Craft for the Craic.

The challenge this month is Die-ing for Spring - use a die cut, or an Easter theme.  I went with the die cut, using a Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles die set to cut the image which was stuck down flat, and the frame which was popped up with sticky foam.

The cute hedgehog and sentiment are from a Penny Black set, coloured with Copics and Spectrum Noirs.  The edge was coloured with Scattered Sage DI as were the sentiment and papers which I think are Basic Grey.  I roughly cut spirals from Papermania red and grey card which I wound into flowers, adding pearls and some stickles.

Looking forward to seeing your projects this month at Craft for the Craic and remember, we like to see all types of craft - crochet, sewing, baking, jewellery, knitting, scrapbooking, painting, pottery - any craft really, let's see what you've made for the craic!
