Teen Boy

Another boy card. Don't know where the papers are from sorry.  I cut the stripy paper on the diagonal and the library card and ticket are from a free downloadable here. Sentiment from Ladybug Crafts Ink.

Butterfly Hello

Hi all, did a little stamping last night.  This is quite a small card, about 3" x 5" using an Inkadinkado 2 piece stamp set and Cat's Eye chalk queue inks.  The background is Hero Arts Envelope Background stamp.  Added some green gems to the butterfly.

I'd like to enter this into:

Clean and Simple classes

I've really enjoyed the Clean and Simple Card Classes but this is the first card I've had a chance to make!  This card was about making simple embellishments.

Hero Arts Envelope background stamped in Soft Sand, Hero Arts flower inked and coloured with Papermania brush marker, Jillybean Soup brown Baker's Twine, Papermania sentiment stamped with Hero Arts Latte, Neenah White Cardstock. Circle aperture cut with Martha Stewart circle scissors (after much mangled paper and card, finally getting the hang of that gadget. Top tip: use on a glass cutting mat), corner punch.

HA 90 min scramble

Morning all! Last night I took a break from back to school haircuts and chasing lost pieces of uniforms to join in the Hero Arts 90 minute scramble.  I think I got about 20 mins of peace to do it! The challenge was to stamp on patterned paper so I quickly stamped the flower on HA blush paper, used a Cat's Eye ink swiped on some card for the leaves and sentiment strip and white embossed everything.  The card base is also HA paper, added some pearls and was still hopelessly late for the challenge!
Back to routines and clock watching tomorrow .....

Thank you card set

This fabulous stamp and die set was in the new docrafts Goody Bag - but in my Goody Bag I got two Best Wishes stamps and my neighbour got two of the Thankyou stamp and die sets.  So we swapped.

I placed the die just over the edge of the folded card to make the little cards, stamped with different coloured inks and added matching buttons - easy peasy.  The hard part will be getting the kids to write them!

Thanks for visiting, and a Happy New Year. Ger x.
